how to not die in a meteor zone?

i really want to explore the meteors but i dont really know how to make air or not to suffocate in there what do i do?

 

There are files for a space suit in the game that I'd imagine would allow you to breathe in airless environments. I haven't progressed far enough on my char to find out if you can actually make it yet. I sure hope so. Until you get the space suit or we get the ability to make enclosed environments, you can't really do much.

IIRC, the spacesuit becomes craftable in Tier 4(?), although I haven't tried it myself.

 

In tier 3 or 4, I forget, you can craft a Survival System at the Robotic Table which you wear as a back item that gives you infinite breath while in all situations.

 

Once you reach Durasteel tier, you'll be able to craft the Survival System to place on your back.
Also recommended is the Grappling Hook, craftable about the same time. Learn how to use it and navigating asteroid zones is easy.

 

wow I have to wait until tier 4 to go to moons now?

Might as well remove moons from tier 1-3 sectors

 

Why should moons not exist just cause you can't go to them? That would be kind of odd.

 

You still can go to them. Nothing stops you from visiting previous sectors, you just have to find a purpose for it yourself.
