How to make Starbound a good game

Wow.
You are- literally- the physical, breathing representation of most of the idiots I see complaining about Starbound. You use the same dumb argument- copying Terraria, whining like a baby, and then like a lot of them, then ask why they don't do things like Terraria.
Bravo. You've truly shown your stupidity/you're very bad at trolling. Jimmies not even rustled, notevenmad.jpg, etc etc.

This picture should sum up my reaction to this post. Not anger, not even irritation... more like disappointment.

 

To OP:

You seriously have a problem communicating, don't you? Either that or you're quite pedantic.

First of all, you never read anything, did you? Did you bother to check the development blog for what they intend to do?
Did you know there are going to be mechs, for example?
Did you bother to check the game's style?
Do you even understand that aesthetic choices are aesthetic choices and complaining about graphics on a 2D platformer who relies on retro pixelization is laughable?

You did zero research before posting that, and you got the answers you deserved.

"I hate when I can't minimize games while playing," in the context of that post, is the most ridiculously petty pseudo-issue I've ever read. Even the title of the thread is incredibly obnoxious, so much that the first suspicion people have of you is that you're a troll, because it's unbelievable how much fail there is on that post. It just cannot come from an actual serious human being.

On top of that, most of the "issues" you bring about are thematic.

Newsflash: The people who make a game make it following their own thematic ideas, if you don't like them, you shouldn't be playing the game in the first place. Basically annihilating and dismissing as ridiculous details that aren't even problematic game-wise, especially not in terms of game mechanics, is not criticism, or suggestions, or anything at all. It's "I don't like the colour of this balloon, why didn't you make a red one?"

The appropriate answer to that is "because I'm the one making the ballon, and it's the colour I want it to be. Your complaint has zero relevance to the actual uses of the balloon. Make your own with the colours you want, if you're gonna complain about superficialities."

I mean seriously, what.
