Im gonna make my first mod that adds a couple of new melee weapons that function like one handed broadswords. Does anyone happen to know how to do this?
The best way to learn how to do this would be to look at vanilla one handed swords. (look at how to unpack vanilla assets if you do not already have them unpacked.) If you want, you could even be lazy and just make a resprited copy of the vanilla one. It is also important to look at how crafting works, if it will be craftable.
