How to find and or how to spawn an uzi?

Cant for the life of me figure out how to get an uzi in 1.0 searched web to no end. I just cant seem to figure out how to obtain one of these. Any ideas on how to spawn or find one?

 

There is no Uzi in starbound apart from mods. Never was, never will be... If you are referring to machine pistols on the other hand...

Make sure you are in /admin mode when you do this.

That's still a machine pistol. If you read the wiki, you'll see that it is in fact a procedural weapon model. Plus, Uzis are technically machine pistols anyway... Just keep spawning them until you get one you want, or figure out how to fill in the rest of the arguments to get the exact model you want.

You might be thinking of Terraria

 

He's not. You can find/spawn a machine pistol with an Uzi body.

 

I know, but there's a gun in Terraria literally called "Uzi".

I'm sorry, but there were uzis, way back in the beta

 

There was a class of weapons called "Uzi" in the beta of Starbound, they typically dropped from prisoners and were small machine pistol-esque weapons with insanely high rates of fire with minimal damage.

They have since been removed, along with pulse rifles, many many of the throwables, and folding chairs. (Well sorta, there is a folding chair hammer you can spawn but you're not meant to obtain it.)

 

Oooooooh, I played the beta(unstable) but I never ran into those

 

If I had to guess, Uzis got removed because their fire rate was so high that they destroyed blocks and platforms in the prisons.
