Closed How to allocate more RAM? (Enraged Koala)

I've been building a subterranean farm, and at a certain point the game has begun to lag, FPS-wise. I suspect that the issue is partially due to memory shortage, but I have most of my RAM free, and Starbound.exe isn't taking advantage of most of it. Is there a way to allocate more to the game?

It's up to the developers. They'll allocate more ram to the game as it's needed. Remember that this is a beta.

No.

Starbound is a 32-bit LAA process. It will use up to the limits of your OS (2gb on a 32-bit OS, ~3.5gb on a 64-bit OS)

But that's a moot point, since Starbound rarely gets close to 2gb.
