I know you can't say anything about the length of each stage in a quantative way, but how about putting it in percentages? E.g. Stage one - 40%, Stage two - 50%, Stage three 10%. It would help me decide which stage I will start at.
So excited! I think I'll start playing at tier "first minute of release". In all seriousness though, I'm probably just start at tier two if I can help myself, depends on how long tier one will be. I might just fool around some on tier one for awhile
Technically it could be near "impossible" to guess that since the ammount of bugs that will happen can change.
I'll gladly take part in all three stages and any possible ones later on. I would like to help and see this game live and prosper.
In which stage (if any) will servers be enabled so that we can test out features as a group. Having multiple people on one playthrough would enable a better chance of bugs so we can report them.
Fantastic! This sounds like a great way to implement/operate the beta. If you're reading this Tiy, how will these updates arrive at first? Will we have a launcher that updates the game before we can run it? Or will we have to manually download/install new updates?
Definitely wouldn't mind helpin' out with Stage 1 or any stage for that matter. WE MUST BUILD MORE PYLONS!!!!

From what I'm guessing maybe they will be but it may have to be lan or a personal server but thats just what I'm guessing I mearly am a supportive fan Its all up to the devs in the end.
I can't wait to take part of this! I'll also be doing a LP of it and spreading the word about this awesome game!
My gosh, I feel so relaxed now, not because now I know I will play Starbound and help you in no-time(that too), but that actually now we have something solid to stand on and wait! I don't mean to say I was angered, no...but now...I just feel peace. Edit: And now I see why this post is so popular...B-word and art with the titles!
