They have said that they themselves will work on it for about a year, then after that they will hire a separate team that will continue working on the game. For how long that team will work on the game though, I don't know, but hopefully they can make sure it'll be worked on for a very, veeery long time.
I cannot wait for this anylonger i am just rolling my thumbs at the moment. i am just waiting for the first stage so i can try to help the dev's. I want to help the game to be released a little quicker by finding the bugs that can be eliminated
This question has probably been asked before, but I'd wish to know if you're only able to join one stage and then won't be able to participate in the next one. Might just be me, but it seemed that way since the post said "Join this stage if...".
i was hoping to find some info from the steam packages db regarding the beta, and while i found nothing specific, shortly before tiyuris post there was a MASSIVE amount of updates to many packages, and many new ones the unnamed ones are interesting (steam sub xyz). while almost all of them would of course be completely unrelated, i'm wondeing if starbound at least took part in this flood of updates: http://steamdb.info/subs/page20/ (be aware that there are generally a lot of updates and new packages, the site number will already be useless tomorrow - at the time of this post the new package ids just passed 34000 everything in that range can be considered "new" significantly lower numbers are old stuff) tiyuris update was at 10 am (UTC?) from what i saw most of the updates in the steam db happened in the 8 hours before that. let's hope one of those unnamed packages is starbound ^^
as i thought more promo to keep the fanbois on their toes, beta 31st dec 11.59pm will be when it goes into beta.
