How many hours have you played starbound?

186 hours in Steam. I guess I were AFK for about 20 hours.

 

I'm all for sandbox games. But it's just a bit repetetive for a sandbox game, you know. I guess I just got to wait for the full release. FINGERS CROSSED.

 

Game has a LOT of potential. We'll have to stick to developers, follow their progress and expect a big game. Terraria has almost the same problem IMO. I loved Terraria at the beginning but trying to start again... bored me, no matter how many "new stuff" they put.

I guess that's why developers are also expecting to give more biomes, and the possibility to find quests and to interact with any NPC you find out there. The less linear the progress, the best the game can be. Also a truly totally random generation of planets is missing.

 

You mean pseudo-random. True random generation isn't possible in SB.

 

762 hours.. I have no social life left.

 

483 Steam hours. That includes some time spent on the forums looking up starbound info while the launcher waited on me, but it was all time dedicated to starbound in some way.

I can get a tad bit addicted to games at times. Haven't played in the past couple months as I'm waiting for the progression/combat changes to start fresh again.

 

80 as of my last check. Once my friend gets a hold of the game that number is going to increase fairly rapidly.

 

I'd prefer terraria more than this atm though.

 

I would say possibly around 20 hours. I like the game, I really do, but I want to wait a bit longer for my content. *Not to mention, other things keeping me busy, such as other games and college for a long while.*

 

According to Steam, 1179 hours.

I do leave it on while afk/sleeping a lot to let crops grow and be farmed by Garden Bots. And also according to Steam, I haven't played since 4/26/2014. Waiting for the next big update or inspiration to build something else.

 

I don't have the highest count in this thread, but I'm still going to have to plead the fifth on this one.

 

Steam says like 150+ hours, but it's probably closer to 15-20. I always forget to close the launcher, I think I left it open for a better part of a week once.

 

At least less obvious. I know that every time I find an enormous plain land, there is something below my feet... or even above sometimes

 

140 hours. Mostly working on building projects, waiting a bit longer to work on survival. Too much of a risk of losing my save.

 

236 because I play after each update to try the new stuff (including mod/moddling) but I stop after a time... until the next update. A lot of the hours are alone... some are with friends.

That help me to stay interest and excited for the next update. (I got the game since the first beta)

But I stopped playing for a while because there was no ship customizations and I was tired of having my ship always full and disorganized, we really need customizations to widen our ships.
