How long will you play Starbound?

If it is as good as I believe it will be. Then uncountable hours

 

Probably for a long time. I'm never ditching Terraria though.

 

I'm guessing a lot more than Terraria to be honest, this game seems much more multiplayer worthy than Terraria, which albeit fun, was just single player for more people, this makes it seem like "sure there's other people, but I can still explore on this planet over here."

So my guess is that I'll be playing until the community dies, which will take a long time.

I think a better question is 'how long are you going to live'

 

I will play the game until I've done all that I can think of. Then I wait for next update and make new character and play the game with different way, and play until there is nothing to be done.
Just like what I did with Terraria.

 

Until it gets super boring, which probably won't happen.

 

Depends. If i get sucked into it like terraria / minecraft it may be several months before me own housemates see me.

untill next update mess around w/ invetory editor and try to make somthing nice at first fail rge delete file and start again

 

I have 440 hours in Terraria, last played today so from what I've seen of Starbound I'm guessing it will be a muuuuuch looooonger time. Sleep, sorry but our newly founded relationship is not going to work.

 

I will play over 9.000 hours!

 

This literally seems like my perfect game, until it ends in the same way as Terraria (which hopefully won't be for a very, very long time) I will be on this a majority of my free time. Procedurally generated content, including weapons, is a huge reason why Borderlands had so much replayability for me.

 

I shall spend the same amound of time I played terraria.... per planet.

For me, though, um.... let's just say that.... um.... as long as there are still some cool stuff to be added. Lots of updates, like Minecraft!
As long as there is boredom, there shall be GAMING.

 

I think that I will play it for about 2-6 years.

 

Seeing as I played Terraria for 250+ hours (use a mod to play now most of the time, doesn't record) I'd say x10'00000000, seeing as that was ONE island the game was set in. This is a whole GALAXY, even a UNIVERSE (and possibly alternative universes as well), which will mean I'll be playing it for a very long time.

 

Well I have one possible number at the moment which may increase later... 999999999999999989999999999999999999 ERROR number exceeds lifetime capacity in front of computer shutting down...
