How long until you go to a level 100 planet?

I think iblob will dig a hole and avoid the surface, unless there are "worm" type monsters and other ones able to destroy blocks.

 

Get some ok weapons, go there, get slain, go back after 1 hour training, find out its a level 2 planet.

 

I think Starbound will require you to make things, therefore you will be able to go there, but anything useful, like ores to make armors and weapons, would be beyond you capability to dig. The monster won't drop enough on there own for you to anything good, but I guess it would be interesting for the challenge.

Me, I won't ever go to a level 100 planet, unless there is a non-combat item there that is worth getting. Then I will get that and leave. I don't like combat too much, I would rather create a base that makes be safe, and just let the monster walk around without having to worry. I would probably have traps to bring them in, and let me fight them in an environment that favors me, or just lead them to traps.

When i think i have enough of experience to survive one, maybe after the main story.

 

I'd fly there. Build some sort of base/tower and just use it as a outpost while I piss monsters off

 

Pfft. As soon as I have the ability to leave my first planet! IM OUT! Im gonna MLG that lv100! And die many times in the process of exploration of it...

 

You start off on you fleeing Earth, so your first place you will play in is the Space Station, THEN you go on a planet.
