I probably wont go near a lv 100 planet until I have at LEAST conquered a level 90 planet, then I might check it out. For me, its all about the journey, not the destination.

I believe that you won't be able to even set foot on the planet. In my opinion, advancing from level 1 to 2 is comparable to getting all molten armor in terraria and setting off into hardmode. Plus, as Tiy said somewhere, different planets'll have different atmospheres. So, you might not even be able to breathe. (or melt before you touch the ground.) If not that, then there's also the potential of numerous bloodthirsty critters readily to overpower you even before you enter the atmosphere, or one really tough guy who sends you spontaneously combusting back across the universe with only a blink.

Personally I'd avoid it till I have like 3 of my friends with me and going on at once

.... however I have a friend who would do a "Challenge Mode" and have 1 character, start to end just on 100 planets. Because Hes that stupid He likes the rush.

I've seen Leets do some terrifying things... I even read a GameInformer Article on it just earlier today... but I still can't imagine even Leets Lvl 1 Characters surviving on a Lvl 100 Planet long enough to get ANYTHING off of it & getting away with it.

*Waits for a YouTube Vid of someone pulling this off 1 hour after Starbound Launch proving me very wrong*

i would get good items, but not the best, meaning i wouldnt dedicate my entire existence to getting gear for that world, i would get ok gear, go check the place out, try to fight something, and if it takes very little damage, i gtfo asap, then i come back with better stuff and try again, rinse and reapeat

I'll gather up a bazillion friends and zerg rush it so hard the mobs won't know what that giant tsunami was.

Or I'll just wait until I can handle it myself.

Zerg rushing sounds more fun though. >.>

Personally I'll spend a few hours getting used to the combat and exploration mechanics, overcoming typical enemies and hazards. Once I've obtained a (complete) set of mediocre tools, weapons, and customization options I'll begin regularly tackling level 100 planets looking for an extreme challenge. I'll probably try it frequently in order to find out the bare minimum I can grind by with and progress through the planet successfully. Then forever more I will wish I could experience a challenge like that again.

Your artwork is very beautiful. Would you happen to be the developer responsible for the design in Starbound?

It is amazing what such a simple program like Microsoft paint can create.

But yeah, I could never compare to Tiy. He can create armies with fewer pixels than you see here. ;)

i'd probably go in there with no gear at all take whats within the first 50 square block radius and then put it in a safe and treasure it forever

I'm going to find a level 100 tentacle planet and pretend to be Yrmir at the start of the game. Then I'll take the first thing I obtain and never take it out of my inventory ever.

I think im exploring Time after Time the Planets no need 2 rush. Maybe there is some kind of restriction before you can enter some Planet Lvl´s we will see soon i hope. Im hope there is still the chance 2 preorder or a Beta^^

I'm gonna grab a wooden sword and the worst armor in the game.
And go kill an enemy at a level 100 planet.
I don't care if I only kill one.
I can say I killed one at the beginning of the game.

I think i might just Nuke a level 100 planet without even landing on it.
