How long have you known Starbound, and how long have you been waiting?

I've been waiting for this game specifically for three years, but I only found out about it yesterday.

 

I was introduced to Starbound through a Gaming Clan forum, registered on Thursday, April 16th ('13) and have been waiting since about 3am that night when I created my account.

I know how bad it has been waiting since the middle of April, THIS year. I am so, so sorry for all of you who have been here since '11...

 

Since it was announced on the TO forums after Red's hiatus.
Since then.

 

Since Jan 2012, Heard of it in the Terraria forums. Been waiting for it since, never really had a craving to the game until the pre-order events, was waiting very patiently. Now that is over and we have a Roadmap, been checking to see if they updated the Roadmap every day. Its been sometime after the preorder event, kinda wondering why they cant update the roadmap, so atleast ppl would be aware of what is going on.

 

Heard the name. Thought it was gonna be some dumb 3D spaceship game. Checked it out on saturday because some guy kept talking about it. I instantly fell in love and have been following intently. Out with Terraria, in with Starbound!

 

Heard about it in February 2012.

 

Long enough, and too long. Respectively. Of course, that doesn't mean I'm not willing to wait longer.

 

'Bout a year and a half, I think. Hard to track since I didn't sign up to the forums until I thought we were getting closers to release.

 

Member as of March 1st, 2012 but i do believe i may have heard earlier.

I've been waiting since Spore.

 

Known about this since it was mentioned back on the Terraria forums. However haven't done much more than lurking up until recently. Glad to be with the crowd of those anxious and active now.

 

Early 2012, January.

 

Summer of 2012 when Terraria went on sale during Steams Summer Sale. I remember reading that they were no longer doing updates for Terraria and they had a link about Starbound through steam. At the time I didn't pay much attention to it but remembered it once I started to really get into Terraria. So I came to this site and it all began

 

I found out about it 2 days ago, and I can't WAIT!

 

I heard about it since early last year, when RockPaperShotgun wrote an article about Terraria's devs moving on.

 

I found out about Starbound by a tweet by either Redigit or Notch a loooong time ago.
I registered on the forums on Feb 22, 2012.

 

Yeah I've known about this game since I think......March of 2012... I think...

 

Some time mid last year when Steam added article to the terraria page. And ever since then

 

I have known about Starbound since the very beginning. Registered on the forum within the first couple of days of it being open.
