How i think poptops will be first added

two words: pregenerated structures
has any of you guys seen the new (I guess so since i haven't seen it before the new stable update was launched) agaran structure?
that looks like if it was an agaran nest with some agaran pods, big mushrooms (the disguised agarans) and an underground chest and more pods? but most important, a DOG

well, this is how i think poptops will be added
justlike dogs, poptops will appear in a pregenerated structure. it could be a small destroyed apex lab with alot of water in the lower floor or either a cave with alot of water and some kind of poptop decoration (don't ask me how just imagine something similar to agaran decoration just that of a poptop origin) , both of them would be "full" of the lil critters (i guess 3 or 5? i guess they'll be rare?) if we're lucky enuff we can get a poptop dungeon (a set of caves with adult poptops in the lower levels)
if anyone can screenshot the new agaran pregenerated structure and post it i would appreciate i stopped being lazy

for a second, I thought you said "pregnated structures" and thought that'd certainly be interesting. Then I realized that needs a couple more letters to even be the word I was thinking of.

 

Heh, it would be like some kind of block that spawns them? like xenomorph tissue all over a spaceship just that now it would be "spored" metal blocks in a building, however it would be easier for devs right now at this stage of the beta if they made them spawn just like dogs do, just once and in a pregenerated structure

 

What if they're in..... spaaaaaaaaaaaace stations?

 

only thing i can think about is flooded meteorite stations
there HAS to be water for them to reproduce uncontrollably

I personnaly don't think they will be added soon. Adding Poptops means that the devs would also have to add the other Create-A-Monster winners, and I don't think it's their priority right now.

 

well, all those monsters are supposed to be in the game, as in the final version of the game, so they can be added anytime before the full game comes out, but yeah you're right

 

Poptops should be added as taking over some Apex lab or USCM base/space station and turning it into their nest, like you said. And dogs existed before they spawned in with the Agarans, they spawned on planets near dog houses and large bones, and occasionally in large groups with frogs.

 

But maybe they will be added soon enough, as there are already data of the Create-A-Hat contest winners in the game, but i guess hats are more simple to make

 

i swear if they end up not being catchable im gonna spend all my diamonds in bombs and im gonna blow up the surface of a whole planet

Don't forget that fossils will be in the game. Maybe this is how we'll be able to get Poptops!

but already confirmed since "and perhaps some of these long dead creatures can even be revived."
they are either gonna be "pet-table "? or just a neutral/agressive monster and devs are trolling us

well i guess poptops are gonna be more like a "space pest" releasing spores that can go into space and spread from planet to planet

 

as far as when, I think they'll be added right before or right after the stretch goals.

 

Implying they won't devour your pokeballs.
