To be fair, the combat in Fallout 3 is hilariously bad too. And don't even get me startetd on the story.

 

The story's certainly better than "Oh hey look dragons. Meh."
And as for the combat, weeeell, "Let me just walk backwards at 50 km/h while repeatedly firing an insta-kill fireball at you."

 

Ha! You wrong about me op! I have many other games I could play! Sorry that you don't however, you should find some way to occupy your time. Makes it go by much faster.

It's fun to make fun of Skyrim because of some of the mods. There's some weird stuff that's been added to that game. Of course I have the PS3 version so I don't get the mods

 

Skyrim is trash.
Combat is laughably bad, Quests offer little to no incentive to be completed, Characters are like cardboard cutouts.
Not too mention the horrid story, Over-hyped marketing, and dumbed down....well everything.

 

It's actually the melee combat that is completely terrible. "Hey look, at my super sharp sword. I'm gonna bash it on your helmet till you're dead, that's how you use swords."

 

In skyrim

In skyrim, either I walk around while nothing interesting happens for half an hour and I find overpowered enemies that 1 hit kill me OR I wander around half an hour and find an enemy that dies in 1 hit. IT"S SO BORING. The story's boring, the characters are boring, it's so uninteresting! There's this huge sandbox world to explore, but there's NOTHING to actually do/see in it at all... Maybe clear a dungeon with enemies you kill in 2 hits, I guess but that's it. leveling doesnt take long because it takes long, no, it takes long because THERE"S NOTHING TO FIGHT.

All these memes are giving me a headache.

 

I just got Persona 3 and 4, plus the first three Phoenix Wright games.
I think I'm set for a month or two.

 

Yep! Also, there is only snow and caves as biomes. And I HATE winter levels, like most people should. Oblivion was way better. More complex character upgrading, classes, quests that actually give you stuff. I sure hope that Elder Scrolls Online is more Oblivion based than Skyrim, although it takes place before those in the second era.

 

In daggerfall you could go to all regions .

 

You will be able to in ESO, but I though that it was just Highrock and Hammerfell ? Arena I know you can go anywhere though. Even though I can't even leave the prison.

 

Starbound reminds me of Google Mail. It's probably completely functional in every way, but it'll stay in beta for 5 years.
