How Does Wiring Work

Sad day for me. One day my dream will come true.

 

Has anyone found electric lights that accept to be connected to wiring? So far all I found seem to not cooperate. -.-

That's a bug. The console is probably missing its active sprite. Do report this.

 

I do not believe this is a bug, the console you found was in a security established base on a planet. It's an effect. It's supposed to be hidden, so it disappears when clicked on. Purely an aesthetic effect meant to make it look "secretive." This is not a correct console to be using, I don't believe. Try making your OWN console in the higher tiers. Painstaking if you're a beginner, but it WILL work. I have one of these consoles myself, and remember the location of it. Hope this helps.

 

It seems that at the moment a gate wired to two different activation devices only one works at a time. The gate will respond to the 2nd one only if it is closed. As long as it is open by the first device, the 2nd just won't get the door budging.

I also seem to have an issue using consoles with wiring, or at least the ones that I get to craft myself. Any other wiring device 3d printed however appears to work, though I'd need to double check for the consoles. Being too much of a eye and hand scanner ^_^

Hopefully we'll get wiring prioritisation later on as well!

 

Turns out higher tier consoles dont work at this moment either. Only working things are found on planet.

I do think it's a bug. There's no 'disappearing' effect, and it's a prison control console, not some future-tech thing. I believe it is missing a sprite, and they disappear in my game, too.
