How Do You Guys Like These Daily Updates!?

Or they so hyped already they just can't take all the extra awesome info.

 

The reason why I can't skip over the front page is because I have a compulsive need to read all information that makes its way across because of the fact the front page is used for important information and that's the habit I developed when I joined the forum. Other than that I don't know what to tell you guys.

 

Again, I'm stuck on voting bacon because while I don't love it, I don't hate it either.

I'm primarily worried about them stressing themselves out with these frequent updates as to the progress of the game, I'd rather they keep it at a weekly or monthly official update, or just post the things on Twitter when they feel like o^o. If they're fine with it, then yeah it's nice.

 

In the end...for me it was bacon!

 

I was going to vote on "Love'em!", but then Bacon.

 

They're pretty cool, but it did seem like they were pressured into doing it. If they decide to stop giving daily updates, I won't complain at all.

 

I think that they should make it so that they release updates on a weekly base. With this I mean wednesday and saturday or even once a week is also alright for me and reading the comments I see that a lot of people will agree with me on that.

Well anyway I'm gonna enjoy these daily updates for as long as they last!

It gives me something to look forward to when I'm checking the site. Any little bit of official information is nice and reminds me again people are working hard on making their dream game come alive. From the looks of things it's something of my "dream game" as well.

My hype level is pretty ginormous although backed by years of waiting for releases and tempered by events like Fable and Spore let downs.

 

Bacon is overrated.
It's a nice change of pace, hopefully it'll continue for a good awhile.

 

Hopefully, it will dissuade the vaporware trolls and the cynical asshole trolls who insist that the Starbound team isn't doing anything except spending their preorder money on silly things.

 

It is good to have sporadic updates of this nature; it was a nice change of pace I think from only seeing the occasional twitter pic or livestream. While I doubt we will be getting daily blog posts (but I could be wrong), it would indeed be nice if the current trend of slightly more frequent official site updates continued.

I love it! Kudos to whoever made the final call that daily updates should occur.

 

I like having updates. Not having any is not good. Once a week like it was before they stopped having updates regularly is probably best.

 

At least they want to keep us informed, i enjoy the fact they actually care enough to do it.

Not that its not awesome, but is anyone else wondering why there is such a flood of updates all of a sudden? We've gone from a tease every other week to detailed information on what each part of the team is working on every day.

Is this going to last? Is it a sign of a change in the development? Is it keeping people who pre-ordered in touch with what happening? Is it a sign that the beta is close?

EDIT: There has been a lot of threads regarding this already.

 

Possibility that the crew was actually working on " Risk of Rain " And are just now starting to work on " Starbound " is the only thing left for them to actually work on instead of jumbling more then 1 game at once... i believe that's a set of priorities not straitened out. But my only opinion on the question. "Why all of a sudden more posts? " Well people have been complaining only reason.

 

Yup.
