    I was going to change the color of the tier 8 apex armor but open looking at the file I found it was just orange even though in game it's purple. I was just wondering what file I need to edit to change the color!

    There are color options in apextier8.chest, apextier8.head, and apextier8.legs. They start at line 33 in the head file, line 41 in the chest file, and line 31 in the legs file.

    Not sure on which colors in the palette effect what. I'll experiment a bit and get back to you.

    @Karmos Thanks for the super fantabulous explanation on how dyes work that can be found here. (Read it, it's seriously delicious.)
    Since it seems that the armor is purple by default, you might want to edit the colors of purple.
    Code:
        /* PURPLE */
        { "ffca8a" : "xxxxxx", "e0975c" : "xxxxxx", "a85636" : "xxxxxx", "6f2919" : "xxxxxx" },
    I've replaced the dyed colors with xxxxxx and left the placeholder colors. These are hexadecimal values representing colors, so it'd probably help for you to use a color picker. (Unless you can count in hexadecimal and are also a robot master that has memorized the RGB model, that is.) Just drag the circle around on the color picker, and the six digit number preceded by a '#' above the color picker will be the value of the current color you've selected. An important thing to note about the placeholder colors is that their shade darkens from left to right, so you'd probably want to make your palette to reflect that. Apologies if my explanation wasn't clear.

    Based on everything I've red and found so far I don't think it's possible to change the color of the armor directly. Maybe in a future update? Who knows. Until then I'll just use the dye mod! ;)
