I want to make a super mutant (Fallout) race, but I don't know how to start. I figured it'd fit in pretty well, but I have no idea on how to start. Anybody have a guide, mod, or know a program that can help?
This is not by any means an easy process, although you likely know that already. For editing the json files, Notepad++ is a great program to use if you're on Windows. For a powerful image editing tool, GIMP is very helpful since you have features like layers that will greatly help out when drawing. Both programs are completely free as well. As for this race, there might not exactly be much room on the sprite sheet to make them much bigger than the default races.
