How did you find Starbound?

I Love sci-fi and indie games and am always trying to keep track of whats new

Terraria. Redigit stopped working on it and linked everyone here. Looks great, though.

 

I found out about Starbound in a very roundabout way. ;; I was looking up (or trying to look up) images of the Neptune's Shell transformation in Terraria and happened upon a screenshot of Starbound. I clicked it, thinking it was some super cool place in Terraria I had never seen before...

And now I'm here.

 

On Terraria forum

 

Through Steam.

 

Steam News had a link to a news site, and I followed it to the site.

 

Through a guy on youtube named Yrimir.

 

Terraria forums, my answer is clear and simple.

 

I heard about it from my Terraria friends. Although I had already known it was going on for a while...but wasn't showing any interest.

 

That post on Terrariaonline when Redigit said that he lost his spriter to a potentially competing game, along with the fact that he is no longer working on terraria. I decided to google "Terraria spriter working on new game" or something like that, and found all the screenshots and stuff. I had no idea of the name of the game. Just that it was going to be awesome.

 

I found a piece of paper inside my cheetos bag, with this message on it:
"You've been awarded with secret information about an upcoming game! To receive your information, please visit www.playstarbound.com"

 

Lol that is awesome. Super creative haha. It's like a fortune cookie, only better!

 

I was playing terraria with my friend Spencer, and he said to me "You know, there is not going to be anymore updates for Terraria" I was astounded, I thought he was lieing . And so to the internet, I saw from the terraria forum that the creator said he was going to work on a different project. And he had linked to this website, so I checked some stuff out like the art and the few videos they had of Starbound and I love it, it looks amazing.

 

Was it crunchy or puff cheetos ?

I believe I saw it whilst looking around on some info for Terraria, and from numerous friends crying about Terraria being "lost forever! "

 

I found out because i was reading the article that terraria was being discontinued; Which led to the information of this game which caught my eye
