Sorry if this is asked often. I made this account awhile ago when I first pre-ordered the game and I'm curious how much progress has been made since back then because it looks like the stable build hasn't changed since.

  2. Hi there! We haven't had an update in quite sometime. Chucklefish (based on community feedback) decided to forgo the small consistent updates for the few massive updates. That's what we're currently waiting for. There's going to be a massive patch soon, and it's going to revamp a lot of things and introduce some cool new stuff. Get excited, friend!

I can't say for sure when we'll be moving into Stage 2, but (because of the massive updates) it should be sooner than expected. Of course, everything is still in development -- and life can still happen. So, get hyped, but try to be patient. :giggle:

Although it might feel close, from what things look like it's FAR away, probably several months in the not too distant future.

I shall ignorantly take your word for it. Thanks.

  6. Considering Stage 1 hasn't seen an official release in about 5 months I'd say a good while.

Next update should be pushing the game to 1.0 according to Tiy. Which includes even stretch goal material.
So next [ stable ] update should essentially should mark end of stage 1 and starting of stage 2.

I don't want to get into yet another 'change management 101' debate, but I'm not sure this makes sense. Shouldn't 1.0 be the end of beta entirely?

Well it really matters on how you number.
1.0 Essentially means "feature complete" so all gameplay mechanics and major core aspects of the game have been put into place. Including story line, bosses, assets.
Majority of the time it does mean - ready for active distribution, in the end the day you can make it mean what ever you want.

So chances are only version 3 - might be considered "complete" in those standards. If end of stage 1 = version 1.0

  10. Just gonna go ahead and lock this up since the best answer that could be given at the time has been given -- and the OP successfully saw it :coffee:
