is there a reason you are removing the second seat?

 

It doesn't fit two people on the sprite and also it doesn't really make sense to have two seats on a wheelchair. If enough people want it to stay with two seats, and I can find a way to make it work aesthetically then I might keep it though

What is proper zero-g behavior? Because I look at this and I don't think "wheelchair", I think MMU. This would be great for times you're doing stuff in space and your mech runs out of gas.

 

You can basically go left and right in space but not up and down. Same as hoverbike.

 

Tried it, I just spun in circles and flew off in a random direction. Oh well, this things still awesome for ground movement... I dug out some tunnels and use it to rocket between settlements on one of my planets. Elon Musk would be proud.

 

Well, the Hover Wheelchair isn't really meant for space, but the 'correct behaviour' is the spinning around, rather than freezing as it was doing before the patch. It was able to go left and right for me lol.

 

Yeah, I know. It uses the same movement style as the hover bikes, although those are just about useless, while your mod is actually useable on planet surfaces. For some reason, I seem to be really good at getting my mech shot out from under me during space combat, which sends my poor guy flying off in whatever direction momentum dictates; or at having almost enough gas to make it to the objective and then either careening past it or having to 'swim' the last few feet. I've always thought it would be nice to have something akin to a lifeboat that I could use to try to finish the mission instead of having to beam back to the ship or die.
