Horizontal doors (S.A.S)

In first place escuse me for my english level, i will try to speak in a understandable language ^^'

On a other hand i want to thank you so much for your job, guy's you are amazing, i can't explain all that i want to say you but my feelings are here!

 

Doors can already be placed horizontally, as seen in this screenshot:

Note the acid trap; there's a door underneath it in the same style as the ones around the rest of the building.

So maybe I can suggest a horizontal door in the same style but much faisaint "SAS" as in Starcraft 2 with marine barracks that can be stored in the ground! Perhaps much later ^^

That an exemple of what i call a "SAS". On the right side of the middle building we can see a "SAS", in that game the "SAS" allow the player to put a bulding, like the building of low, in the ground to protect him. We can say that is a realy strong door placed on the floor ^^​

When i spoke about "SAS", i mean a strong round protection door on the floor, something who looks less like a simple door as we have already in the game. In my mind, i think that take more time to open (cause of protection, and all locks). Protections like a bank protection door. Did that explain you a little bit more what I mean? ^^

 

I think the question here is what does SAS stand for?

 

I think that the SAS would be used like a door that we can't open just with our hand. We would use electricity, console, or code system to open it. A little bit like the iron door of minecraft but with better electric options.

 

It's the french word for AirLock.

Nop, missile notification are AS (air-floor), AA(air-air), SA(floor-air), SS(floor-floor)

I think about it and what i call by sas it's a door a little bit like the one who already creat, but the sas have protection system integret who is activate when we place the door, the protection system would can be a digital code or a shape to recreate (as some phone system where you have to connect points). The advantage of this door would'ad be to have the protection system integret to the door, this does not require us to place other system and consol to protect the door from intrusion, it is a space-saving.

Lol this thread again. After a month looking back I think the guy is talking about a supply depot. Terran players usually use em to wall off ramps. Lol I hope the op don't go "no supply depot is SAS the door that is round that can lock with not a regular but code lock thingy" <-- dats some major trollin
