I just finished watching Hercules for the first time. I'm disappointed.

 

You watched a movie that can't even spell his god damn name right (Hercules is Roman; Heracles is proper Greek).
In addition, it's an A-movie action flick.

 

I get too much into my voice acting. I love it.

Yep, I know. It's one of those Disney movies I never saw as a kid, so when my sister started it on Netflix I figured I might as well watch it. But it was shit. Not only did it deviate entirely from the actual mythology, but the plot was just…fuck. It was terrible. Megara was the only character I liked and they ruined her with the romance part of the plot, and the rest was just crappy in general. I mean, really? There were more plot holes than I could count on one hand, which is a problem in and of itself.

 

well, hercules is the 'english version', just like how most non-greek languages glub up basically all other ancient greek names. i don't think it's wrong they use the modern spelling, and i had 5 years of ancient greek in school. furthermore, there is no letter c in greek so the correct spelling would technically be herakles (or the greek version, but i don't know how to type greek on a phone)
i only know the disney movie through kingdom hearts and i only liked the world in 358/2 days.

like, I don't know Greek, but I know how to pronounce every letter
and I was able to read the Greek-font bit without trouble, except I thought it said poots instead of posts for a minute because the tail of that sigma connected to the tau and made it look like another omicron
