is Brotherhood a completely different branch of FMA or

cuz the ending of FMA

 

Brotherhood is the same as the original, but follows the actual manga EXACTLY
i need to watch Brotherhood soon, actually.

But it branches off from FMA pretty quickly
And the ending is VERY different, and if you ask me, better
Even if more cliche

 

FMA branches off from the manga from a certain point with it's own ending, whereas brotherhood stays completely(?) true to the story of the manga.
