Come to think of it, maybe she's terrified because I have the potential to destroy the entire economy of the Reach in about a day, or even less if I had more magicka and some way to regenerate it quickly.

 

Apparently, seven attack drones, a laser drone, a normal drone, and an ammo box means that anything that stands near you very quickly ceases to exist

But yeah, my main characters leveled quite quickly and got really strong really fast. This one's new, and I'm challenging myself to only use bows and not use anything made from plants aside from the lower level bows and arrows because I can't avoid it, so she's pretty weak.

I do the 1600 and 800 and 4x800, occasionally 2 mile or 400, but I hate the 2 mile.

 

I will always love the 2 mile because the first time I did it I gave NO SHITS and had a goddamn conversation while running it. Also I never knew the 4x800 was a thing. The mile and 800 I like less mostly because they're always super full and I end up behind everyone because I prefer to just defer and catch up as I go. Another reason the 2 mile's nice is that there're so few people in there they're always awesome.

Well right now I'm injured (strained breathing muscles, residual cough that acts up every time I breathe too hard for too long) so I can run about 4 before things go wrong.

True, I lost my count once and things ended HORRIBLY (that was my last race before I got this injury). But on the whole, running 8 laps essentially demands this mentality: "Wow, I've already run a lap! That was easy!"followed by more and more forced exclamations of surprise at how fast this is going until we get to "OK, half done." followed by the typical "Only x more to go" until finally, "Alright screw it this is the last lap. SCREW YOU DUDE IN FRONT OF ANY DUDE BEHIND ME." *Mental roars of triumph and rage as you cross the line and practocally collapse into a heaving mess*
It's a lot like a 5k cross country race but with 8 laps instead of 3 mile markers and like 3-8 people on the track if it's a dual meet.

 

Gonna go play my neglected dark souls 2. Because holy shit, these 2 saves of mine are fucked up (one is the "arduous path" (company of champions) and the other broke every breakable chest not knowing that would render the item inside unusable.
