Hello, I just got back from a Mod sponsored Vacation because i horribly owned some nerds, AMA

God dammit I want to finish Dark Souls 2 but I have so much SHIT TO DO.

Console manufacturer's are trying basically everything to hold onto that source of revenue, back in the earlier gens next gen consoles didn't have to be shown off like it was a fucking political rally because they virtually sold themselves. Back when consoles were a much more affordable gaming system and getting a console essentially meant having cheaper access to the hot new games on the market, nowadays where computers are averaging the price of a console with the bonus compatibility of being a computer that shit ain't gonna work anymore. All they really have to rely on now is exclusives which are usually ported over to PC only three months down the sodding like as it is.

Nintendo is the one console system I can see staying on the market because for them exclusive means it, and most games on their account are first party. Oh it also helps that despite aforementioned repetition syndrome they can still get gameplay right. Probably because they're still using the same Engine that they used to build Ocarina of Time.

Xbone is going to be in Bargain Bins soon if it isn't already.

PS4 will probably have a good shelf life, it's the only console of the generation I've even motioned I may get, though given Sony's track record I'm holding off until an actually good game (see, any games at all that matter) comes out for it.
