Well, in my school, there are a significant number of church related things hosted by the school, but not during.
Like, the group First Priority is mentioned over morning announcements at least twice a week, and it has posters up all over the school. The vast majority of the people here are christians, and I'm fairly certain that I'm the only non-christian who isn't a total outcast or worse.

I'll be a junior next year, but within that time period was the first time I got into a fight, and a lot of questioning about satan
Plus somebody handed a cross to me once



Come to think of it, the fight is the last time I remember somebody trying to fuck with me over my lack of religion

I'm amazed no one has even said anything about religion to me in school, and I live in the bible belt.
Hell, if I say "I don't go to church", they look at me funny for a second, then just resume normal conversation. It's weird hearing people persecuted about it when here no one gives a shit.
Or they do, and say nothing about it until I'm out of earshot but that's just my paranoia about everything ever talking.

I've had entire classes derailed because people think I'm a godless heathen bitch and I'm going to Hell. Most recently, two of my fucking teachers joined the class in the verbal assault, and one guy shoved his cross necklace in my face. I'm lucky I haven't been physically attacked (because of religion, anyway; I've been assaulted for other reasons) yet. Hell, I did a project and mentioned Islam in it and people started hurling questions at me. Fuck Texas.
