Xanike: ... would you like to see me change it up and control a non-agile character for once?
TDOB: Are you trying for omniprescence or what?
Xanike: I tend to play agile characters in general. I think that kind of high-speed action is amazing.
TDOB: An extremely mobile character with borderline limitless potential range.
Xanike: The only difference between Zephyr's range and anybody else's at the moment is that by using Sky Splitter, he can hit his distant targets instantly, rather than firing a projectile with travel time.
Xanike: Nobody has a limited range in Second World when it comes to ranged attacks, unless you specifically program them to fizzle out after a particular distance.
TDOB: But none of your long-range attacks have more than negligible travel.
Xanike: What're you talking about?
TDOB: Sky Splitter hits instantly and has infinite range.
TDOB: Life Taker hits nearly instantly (and you've shown that Kain possesses bullets that show their trajectory) and has borderline infinite range as a result.
Xanike: You keep saying "infinite range" after I've already said everyone else has the same range. As for Kain, he shot Exile from just outside the battlefield. He wasn't quite far enough that the bullet would have to have dealt with any sort of travel-time issues.
TDOB: You expect someone like NC to be able to shoot you at the same range?

Xanike: But yeah, when I shot at the bandits coming towards the forest I did specify that bullet had some travel time before it hit it's mark, and Kain had to adjust his aim for that travel time.

TDOB: You deal heavy damage at stupid ranges and can just teleport away if somebody ever does get close.
Xanike: SNS absolutely has incredible distance sniping with his rifle.
Xanike: Yes, he's an obnoxiously built player killer. The teleport, however, has a range limit depending on his level. I've reverted him back to Rank F since last night so right now it's at the minimum 3 yards.

Xanike: THAT part, I have to admit, is something I've considered and is currently why I'm playing the Zephyr right now, instead. Considering the best way to fix that.

My problem isn't the reliability of the devs, it's just that the game is going to be borderline useless to me until that's added.

I mean, they posted the nonsensical ramblings of a spambot on the site's blog. They're clearly awesome developers.

also since the admin of the RP has ridiculously unbalanced and overpowered characters what's to stop us from doing the same thing and making all of our characters gods until he gets the picture? or at less making characters that do a very good job at countering any weaknesses his characters may have?
