Holy creator of starbound...

I just took a look at the pre-order forums, and over 11,000 backers (including myself) and over 275 THOUSAND dollars! Good job guys! This game is gonna be amazing!

 

yea, i was really surprised at the amounts when i looked at them.

really hoping starbound is all and more of what i want it to be!

When do the pre-orders end?

 

I honestly Have no clue when they end, but I don't think they'll end until maybe this week is over? Don't quote me on that, just giving a good estimate, because only so many people can play the Beta, Amirite?

 

If I were Tiy I'd keep the pre-orders going until the very second that Starbound is released. It wouldn't make much sense to put an upper limit on how many people can get access to the Beta. Bug testing is one of those rare cases where quantity really is better than quality.

 

Unless if it's actually your job, and I've been there, but you are right.

In the case of people who PAY to get their hands on the game early and then bug bash the crap out of it, the more the merrier!

 

I imagine if they did this sooner there would be those preorders plus many more!

 

Yeah I am always happy to see an indie game doing well.

I just hope people actually do what there ment to do in the beta and bug test and help make the game better,
and not treat it like a glorified demo.

 

For the amount of people playing it? You're bound to have at least some people actually testing it. Even better, there may be people that actually know how to test.
