Welcome Kiro! Don't mind the others, they're all a bit crazy. Heck, even I'm a bit crazy. I'd assume you are crazy too, but I wouldn't want to scare you off when you've only just arrived! So congrats on being the most sane person here!
I don't mind, we can all be a little crazy once in a while just like every person in the world is a pervert one way or another.
Well Come aboard the SS Chucklefish, Godot (I think?). We got the buzzzzz all over here, so kick back, relax, and cook your puffer fish to and internal temperature of 165 F or risk diaphragm paralysis.
really? I don't remember freakazoid much tbh. I remember Animaniacs better, then again I have really bad memory. I might have short memory span, under the basis of excuse as I have not been consulted by a doctor claiming as such. I'm an impatient guy so having fun being patient is impossible for me... p.s. welcome
Indeed. I've recently have been quite bored and haven't found most games that interesting. Ever since starbound peaked my interests I've been growing ever slightly impatient. I kinda ignored starbound for months so I would be surprised when it came out but with pre-orders being open and everything...
I see I on the other hand have started an LP career on youtube. I'm planning on Lping the beta of this game when it comes out.
An LP career you say? I used to do some group LPing with friends and occasionally still do. I haven't really done any solo LPs as I usually don't really have much of anything say and my commentating skills suck. I guess it's an acquired craft.
I'm not a talkative person myself, but I actually have the patience for this stuff... Might actually take it seriously to support myself, I hear more and more people taking it seriously to the point of solely profiting from it instead of what many consider a "real job" It's not going to be easy at all and I don't expect much profit either, but if I can profit from something I actually like doing then why not. There are quite a few companies that have no problem when it comes from monetizing purposes [StarBound included] it's pretty much free advertisement for the companies/developers.
Indeed, but generally with an LP channel it's always a good idea on make it a side project, not an actual job. Sure you could make some decent buck off of Lping but that generally comes after reaching x amount of views unless you become viral. It's best to keep it more of a hobby, with the money being an added bonus.
I am well aware of that, but I feel dedicated to make this a full time job for the mean time at least.
That's kool, I do get where you are coming from but still I'd like to give it a try, like I said, I actually have patience for this stuff unlike most other things [like a job at a restaurant/walmart/office/etc.] I'm also trying pixel art as another hobby besides video games, heck I put some in the few LP videos I'm working on.
