Closed Hitbox issues with bow and arrow

I'm running the game on osx 10.9
Is anyone else experiencing arrows that seem to go through monsters or hit them and do no damage? I seem more likely to do damage if I hit in the mid section while the monster is on the ground, but I doubt this was the design of the game.

 

Yes, same here. Makes using the bow feel pretty terrible if you ask me..

 

Monster heads don't seem to have any collision, with both melee and bows.

 

noticed the same problem with heads, no hitbox

 

I have also noticed this when fighting mobs. It dosnt happen often, but is quite infuriating when it does.
