Hey everyone, I figured it would be polite of me to introduce myself here. So here we go. I spend most of my days aimlessly playing games on my pc (which isn't as amazing as I wish it was ), watching miscellaneous anime, trying to learn Japanese again, or walking obnoxiously long distances with a few friends merely because we are bored. I have a very large interest in Japan and hope to move there someday. I am going to try to pursue a career in game journalism and that is why I like to try and get active in a lot of video game communities (even though I tend to retreat to the dark recesses of forums and am never heard from again). If anyone has any sort of question about my...interesting life, feel free to ask. Other than that, I am glad to be a part of the community and hope that we can get along well. I apologize for that seeming rushed and disorganized
Welcome to the forum! You might feel at home in this topic then. http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/anime-thread.5480/
Wow...Thanks! I am glad to see that this community isn't full of people that instantly freak out at me for watching anime. Thanks for the welcome.
Well alot of anime shaped the modern world of sci-fi. Ghost in the shell inspired much of the Matrix, and don't get me started on the robotics!
That's true. Some friends and I might start doing sort of abridged parody series of certain shows. I know one of my friends started doing one for Madoka Magica, and we might make one for To Aru Majutsu No Index because we recently had a sort of anime night at my house
To Aru Majutsu No Index, wow thats a fairly underground anime. (At least as far as I know, but I don't keep up with the latest trends.)
I like it so far, but I guess it is considering it isn't dubbed yet and there are no official subs as per my understanding. I will have to credit my friend with finding it though, he is the one that made me bring 8+ people over to my house so we could watch it.
