Hey folks and folkettes! I've been registered here for quite a while now and made a few posts about the place, so figured it was time to introduce myself! I usually go by the names Flickdraw, Rellek or Umbi in games, depending on what genre of game and type of character I'm playing, but my account is usually always called Flickdraw. I'm really looking forward to Starbound, (like REALLY looking forward) me and a friend played Terraria together and I have some really fond memories of our adventures, like laughing at his terrible "Quick! Night is falling, build a house!" mud boxes I'd find dotted around the map, and I'm hoping that I can get him to play this with me too! Just by looking at the screenshots, videos and the posts made on the forum, this game is shaping up to be both excellent in terms of content, but also community! I'm hoping to possibly start my own corporation at some point, probably something quite small and fairly meaningless, like glass manufacturing or something! I really enjoy exploring and visiting new areas in games, so this is going to be ridiculously awesome for me with all the random generated planets and landscapes etc. I also have a stupid obsession with building and being creative, I can see myself easily loosing countless months of my life building various houses and buildings on this game! I've never really been all that interested in PvP when it comes to games like this , I'm more of a creator at heart I guess, but having said that, I've never really tried it (in Terraria) and would probably end up loving it if I actually gave it a go! So that's about it, make sure to shoot me a wave if you ever see me in-game!!
Hey there, Flickdraw. Nice to meet you. :alien: I'm also looking forward to exploring planets. ^^ It should also be quite pleasant to progressively become stronger by acquiring new gear and such. It'll feel wonderful being able to obliterate thingies that gave you a headache early in-game.
Welcome to the Starbound Forums! I am also truly a builder, but I have tried PvP and enjoy my fair share of destruction too.
