So my parents are visiting for a week. Should I complain about my mum if she doesn't drink enough tea like she did to me when I was at their house last time?
So I grabbed some seaweed to snack on and mum wanted to try it. So she took a bite. She immediately gagged and rinsed her mouth with water. It was funny. She would turn her head every time I took a bite.
Well since I am buying a new PC soon and nd Stardew Valley will be among the first games I'll install then, I thought I'd check out the forums again. And you're a Moderator now... Switched alignment to lawful good, eh?
Oh my god I've ordered so much shit from Ali Express. Electronics. Batteries. Lamps. Relays. Fake Lego. A miniature wooden boat. All fine. Apparently the generic metal bead chain failed to get through Customs. I need to order an oxygen canister, because I can't breathe. I can't stop laughing.
Electronics, fine. It's understandable what you might be doing with that, anything from automating stuff to inventing something to blowing things up. Batteries, you just need power, potentially for a death ray. Lamps, I mean, villains always need dramatic lighting. Fake Lego? Need to build your master-plan somehow. A boat? Lair must be on the water. But bead chains?! Who KNOWS what you could be doing with that?! Nope, can't be trusted.
It's back to being held by customs, so it'll probably be thrown through the window with a "You owe us 15 euros for custom costs" note. Maybe there were illegal spices hidden in the packet. Spice smuggling is a big problem y'know. Mmm-hmmm. Definitely.
Yeah, thyme control is pretty powerful. (Look, I got one spice pun in my arsenal, but I'm not letting it go to waste.)
Thyme con-- Why. Why do you do this. Also my package arrived after all, and no extra import costs. I think there's a small Chinese man or woman somewhere who's unhappy because his already small profit factor got destroyed due to import issues. It's a shame the Chrono Legionnaire has no real quotable lines, but they're so old already that I guess they're history. I say that, apparently EA got a couple of old Westwood devs together for potential remakes. -- Also on an unrelated note, our stove extractor fan was making a very loud humming noise yesterday. My dad took it apart and opened the motor, and it appeared the motor coils had overheated and damaged the insulation. So he cleaned it, and plugged it in again. I'm happy to report the issue has been solved! It was no longer buzzing! Instead it started smoking heavily and we threw the thing away.
Heh. To be fair, if you smoked as hard as that coil did, I couldn't blame her. If it would have smoked any harder the parrot would probably have keeled over. To be fair, it was not going to work again, at all. As you're probably aware, when your motor coil insulation starts to fail, you don't want to continue using it.
