I dunno if you can treat it as electrical work? If it works, then it's good. If it goes bang, then it's... also good... but not for distribution?
Well, if a lack of messages is the problem, here's something to laugh at; I was removing the kitchen lamp from our no-longer-neighbor's old house, and was intrigued that it had two different kind of bulbs in it. One was a normal glass bulb, but the other felt kind of soft and rubbery. Now, I've become very interested in light and lighting, and have made a couple lamps of my own. I got interested in the soft-ish bulb and thought that, it being made of a soft plastic/rubber material, I'd try and twist or pull the cover off. Me, not thinking it through or checking twice, gripped it relatively tight and started twisting. I quickly realized the error of my ways when the cover - which was actually made of glass - shattered entirely. I ended up cutting a finger from tip to bottom of the nail, which bled like a [not nice term] for several minutes. I put a band-aid over it, all the white padding has entirely become red and there's a smear of red coming from underneath it. I did this after forcibly pulling apart wood and concrete and old screws that had become nails due to rot and rust. So ironically I did a lot of stuff that should have easily hurt me without getting a scratch, and then tore my finger open by being an idiot and not realizing that old energy saving bulbs didn't have plastic covers yet. worst thing is, i got nobody to blame but myself. edit: as it turns out, when it's not spewing blood all over the place, the cut is actually just about 7mm long, and perhaps 2mm deep. Not quite as bad as it looks when, like mentioned earlier, blood is spewing all over the place. shame, no honorable war wound big and lasting display of my idiocy.
I guess I'm mostly alive, my desktop is probably more lively than me with the GPU, MB, RAM, and keyboard/mouse all being RGB. Guessing I'll also be playing Fallout 76... as soon as it is "finished" After downloading, I need to draw out a pattern for something, needs to be pretty but simple, and repeatable.
RGB makes everything better. I should probably stop drooling over lamps so much, but I have already ordered a couple of colored filament bulbs to smash and build into something else. Do tell me how the game is, please. I watched RTGame play it a bit, and he or someone else basically said it should not be seen as a Fallout game, but a survival game with the same aesthetics. I could live with that, probably.
It's November and it's already hitting -7°C and I live in Oklahoma, which is a warm and semi-tropical farm state.
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/sins-of-a-solar-empire-rebellion is free to keep for another 3 days, until november 18th, 10 am pacific time and that's my basic civil duty done, i'm going to be off from the forums for a while, due to private reasons cya
Would celebrate, but between Tygo passing away earlier this year and another cremation yesterday, nobody is really in a festive mood at our house. Happy wolfenoot today though. Hugs and kisses to all the animals and animalpeople.
So there I was, cellotaping wires to transformers and prodding the other ends into electric motors, drawing sparks at first because I got the polarity wrong. Gods I love playing with electricity. Our late neighbor would of been proud. How's everyone been in this here chatroom?
