Why, feeling sick?

 

Tell me how it goes, I'm not TOO terribly tempted to upload FU, although, I have made a separate starbound...

Also, how's the download work? I got super confuzzled, even with the how-to

 

I ate too much, so yeah.

I'm more in it for the building blocks, just having finished the game normally, resisting the urge to cheat to build.

As for how the download goes? Well, I went to the Steam Workshop, found FU, clicked Subscribe and waited for Steam to do it's thing.

 

Well, as much as I'd like to use that, I run starbound off of GOG...

I've beaten it a few times, basically once for each main update. Once at the beginning, once when they added hard mode, and once when they added the moon lord. Well, at least once each of those times, I've played it with me and my friend, Clan Infinity, by myself, and most recently I started it up with all the largest mods at the same time. It's been fun. There is no real tech tree like there is in the base game, the base game doesn't have much of one but there kind of is at least a little bit. I've kind of been flitting around everything. I've gotten basic wings before I even beat the EoC, for beating another sky boss.
I will say though, that my village is going to have to be HUGE!
I have the base NPCs, plus 5 from the Spirit mod, plus 2 from two smaller mods, plus 13 from tremor, plus 9 once Thorium updates.
52 NPCs are going to need homes. I moved changed worlds a bit ago, so now I'm waiting for NPCs to move in so I can work on unique homes for each one. I have plans for this.

By far though, my favorite mod is one of the smallest I have. Magic Storage. You remember all that chest management? No more! A searchable, expandable, upgradable system for item storage. I could even have multiple access points so I can access anything anywhere if I want! It's the best. I've never liked having to keep track of where everything is in my chests, because they're all dump chests. Anything in my inventory gets dumped into it. And now I have a system meant for that!

Anyway, if you're thinking of modding Terraria then I recommend Thorium and Calamity. Calamity adds basically another stage to the game, a post moon-lord stage. Thorium gives you a huge range of items through out the entire game, most of them blending seamlessly into the game. Also get magic storage, it's great. I can't praise it enough, it's an amazing mod.

Even more NPC's?! I have trouble making a nice home for them as it is already. I don't want to make even more rectangular boxes to store them all in in the meantime.

Still, sounds like a good suggestion, and I will keep it in mind when I go back to Terraria once more. More content for a game that really, already has plenty of content.
As for chest managing, I've got that sorted, usually.

This kind of went: "Well, it has to be a ways off the floor to stop the Wraiths in hardcore. Oh, I'm going to make a big room here for the merchant. Hallway next to that for easy access. Oh, the guide needs a room..." and so on.
Really, the only rooms I put effort into were the bar - because the bartender needs a nice bar - and the dryad's room, because I wanted some kind of nature.
Oh, and the teleporter rooms. Guess where they go!

Oh, and then there's the storage.
Looooots of storage.
Spot the secret room - It's not very secret.

So what if you change your mind mid design? Just go with the flow, and let it happen. Eventually something will come out of it. And if you don't like it, grab the Drill Mount, wipe it out, and start all over again.



And end up with a concrete and dirt shoe.

 

I want nothing to do with terraria anymore, got real sick and tired of the game quick.

 

It's a bit boring to start up, I will admit. To each their own, however.
It doesn't mean I'm not going to talk about it though.

 

I won't stop you, but I'll state my distaste for it. Just like people hate gmod but I love it and all it multiplayer/addon goodness.

 

Fair enough. Again, to each their own, and everybody has a right to their opinion, and most also have the right to voice it.

As for GMod, it's my most played game on Steam, although it's 3 hours away from being surpassed by Starbound.
Never did much multiplayer except for some TTT, since I didn't know what was good and what wasn't. I mainly just messed around by myself or messed around with a friend.
Good times.

 

Hmm... The world just shook... I wonder how long I have until the world ends in this game... I need to speed up my house making I guess so I can get that lunatic to help me stop that from happening...
This is not going to be an easy task...

At least the merchant's house is looking amazing! He looks like the richest man in all the realms.

 

Apparently most of the entire class flunked a test, so that'll be fun! Start your day with the guy who's test the entire class failed at.

Followed by 2 hours of gaming in the middle of class because I'm finished with that stuff.

Why do I even wake up on Monday anymore. Can somebody wake me up on Tuesday?

Well shoot. I have 7 in game days to kill the brain of cathulu... Let's see, it progresses EoC, King Slime, Brain, Skeletron, WoF... I figure once I get the brain I'll have another 3 days, after Skeletron maybe 5 days if it's nice? I really do have my work cut out for me...

Well, time to go to something less hopeless. Like XCOM 2 Long War 2! Wait, that's the opposite of what I wanted... Shoot.
