Is the law like in France, in which if you are caught driving without an insurance you are instantly screwed up?

Of course. And I am kidding. I paid my dues laat year. But this year's mandatory insurance bill hasn't arrived yet.

I did ride around without license at first, though. In fact, that was the only way I could properly learn how to ride motorcycles...

 

So did I get this right? The insurance firm needs to turn a profit and do so by taking money from the ones that cost them money with car crashes.
In other words, you have to pay money for bunch of reckles driver's cars...

 

Stereotypes are usually for a reason. New drivers tend to think too highly of their skills.
Not that I would know for sure. I'm not 18 just yet.

 

in America they charge teenagers like 16 - 24 due to their reckless driving but the price slowly goes down when the age 28... Insurance companies love to make a profit off of young adults...

 

Insurance firms gamble. They frequently take a small portion of the money needed to get a new vehicle and hope the driver doesn't need the insurance. If the driver crashes the firm loses more money than they make. It's not necessary unfair if the insurance is optional as you can gamble as much as the firm can but inverted.

 

cars are scary! i do not like being on roads.

Just they take a bit of time to ship from Czechoslovakia.
