HELP STARBOUND CRASH E3

I'm not sure we're technically eligible.

Our core team has less than 10. Most of us are green as heck to the industry. We're completely indie. But we've never shied away from accepting volunteers. Even ones that come and go in a few weeks time. I don't however think that makes us any less indie.
But whatever , I voted for Starbound anyways. We'll see how it goes.

 

Because they support SOPA/PIPA E3 is now dead to me.

I was just coming here to see if anyone had commented on the rulings since the nominations appear to be flooded at the moment. They count "owners, employees, volunteers, and/or contractors", which would also seem to include anyone who commits a tangible contribution toward Chucklefish projects. The team page lists 17 people doing various things, and if things are still as memory serves, there may be more than what is listed there.

A little further down it's also mentioned that this must be a standalone venture and that the team must not be affiliated with any other digital video game company. Wouldn't the inclusion of Yeti Trunk, Robit Studios, and ConcernedApe ruin that?

Even if you guys don't get in or are ineligible, from what I've seen and heard you seem to be doing quite well in getting your name out there so I wouldn't think it much a loss either.

You sought at least $3,000 for funding on Starbound (and ended up gettin 30,000% higher than that), are a small team (like you stated), are not published by any prominent, established studio in the gaming industry (like EA, Activision), have done little to no PR for your game, relied on your fans for the external support, and work tirelessly to try and put out a quality game that veryone would enjoy.

You guys are most-assuredly indie. I've voted, and would love to see you guys move up to E3 and outperform most of the mainstream games and help re-vitalize the industry from where it stands.

 

Don't worry, he does that from time to time he should have you blocked by now.

 

As its probably been stated somewhere in this thread:

Isnt this statment sort of wrong: "focus' mainly on storyline,".

Wouldnt Starbound be considered 50% or more do whatever you want?

We're fine, this game has plenty donors that'll eventually donate either later today, tomorrow, or on the weekend hen they have time to find it. We'll probably have the 1st place within the next hour, by my estimate.
