We'd vote more, but we need to start taking this thing a bit more seriously! :D

We have to come together and unite once more. We may have finished $1 Million for our pre-orders, now we must carry out our first campaign:
Putting Starbound in E3! (Or, as I like to call it, PS3!:rofl:)

OP, we must update the front page to have it proudly display the voting center of:

We need effective and morally-uplifting banners to quickly spread the word, the moment this collective fanbase sees this thread, like these!

We need inspiring and affirmative recognition from the staff, the developers, everyone that can confirm that Starbound wants this, so that everyone knows we have their full permission to vote!

We proved once with money, now we'll prove it again with woman/manpower that Chucklefish rock socks! :p

    No.
I gave Chucklefish my money, if they want a vote they can give us a trailer so we know they are putting that 1 mill to use that's not only for living purposes

You must be fun at parties. I gave them money for a game they have been working on for a while. I will gladly vote for them to go to e3 without them providing anything. You saying that you need a trailer as proof they are not just using money for living purposes is hilarious. Considering none of them have to work a second job now. Great job man. You are just great.

The fanboyism is strong in this one.
Simply put when i give a company my money i expect progress and/or a completed product that i can see without having to dig through threads or having to go to recorded twitch videos (im not saying i want my email spamf!*ked every time something is changed).
having fan-boys like you stuff the game in peoples faces and demand them to vote through threads like this will only get Chucklefish so far and a trailer would re-assure people like me that we put our money towards something that is worth it and in turn worth our vote.
Vote for them, I don't care, I stated I won't and gave a completely valid reason for not voting.

I came here to express my opinion which i did take it or leave it, i am not gonna argue with fan-boys because i learned better when i tried to convince kids why WarZ would fail

How am I a fan-boy again? They have given more than what we asked for and we gave them money so we could help push their development time. They have one video out on their homepage. Sorry I want a game that has taken it's time to develop and create a game to go to E3. Not sure how I stuff the game in people's face either. I mean yeah I want this game out there so more people can see it but I'm not running around shoving it down peoples throat. Sorry to push you into a wall and think that I'm a fan-boy. I like this game a lot. This game is expected this year. Sorry that you can't accept that and expect mass progress or a complete project. I mean on the homepage there is a road map to refer to how it's progressing. I guess that is not enough for you. Sorry you feel entitled to something that is already there/coming. If you don't want to vote for them to go to E3 but you are willing to buy the game and say that is your vote I can only say that you supported this game. Yet to sit there and bash on me for trying to get this team who has worked long and hard on something while working 2 jobs get to go and show their game off to a mass of people to get even more support is just hilarious. Sorry but I'm not a fan-boy. I just support this game and team because they have provided much more information than the average indie game. Just because they don't have 20 trailers does not mean they are not working on the game.

they have shown alot of progress on the game, you just gotta hunt down the info to see that. if you really want to see progress, just look for it, more and more is being shown down the line.

There is a flaw in your reasoning though.
You think "Why should I help them anymore? I already gave them my money. I want to see the results of my money", but by voting them into E3 you benefit as well.
It would also generate more publicity for the game and if they get more publicity, more people will know and more will pre-order allowing them to make the game you paid for better.
If they were to go to E3 they would probably have a trailer anyways.
Just because they don't have a trailer for the game doesn't mean it isn't worth it. They have plenty of videos showing their work in progress like the building demo and the water physics ones.

There have been some streams in the past week that have shown some gameplay. I mean do you really want them to be using more of their time and your contribution making a trailer? or making the actual game?

<--- BTW see past broadcasts. Seems like I can't link in the forums to streams properly.

Of course you don't have to vote, but I would like to mention that even though all contributions are considered important by the developers, the reality is that without the "crowd" each single contribution is a drop in the bucket. Your $20 contribution, and even my $45 contribution are not significant enough to be acting like we're shareholders or something. Plus we get lots of stuff with our contributions: Beta access, sound track, and a copy of the game.

Chucklefish never asked for your vote, someone pointed out that this Crash E3 thing was going on, and a lot of people decided to support the game they think will be awesome by voting so that it would get a spotlight at a major gaming convention.

It's my money.. so yeah i can feel entitled all i like, i worked for it why shouldn't i?
I also don't want 20 trailers, i want one official trailer that isn't just a water demo or building a lab, I am also not going to open the road map each day to see how its progressed by 10%.
I never said i would not vote for them, i simply stated i would not vote for them now, if i was shown somthing that would make me say "hey i guess they do diserve to go to E3" sure i would vote for them and i almost did from hearing the games soundtrack, i would even come back to this thread to let you guys know i did vote for them, but not right now
So yeah.. Call me greedy, call my stubborn, say my reasoning is dumb but no is no
You guys can argue your points to me all you like, you can inbox me even but i am not gonna waste my time anymore then i already have here just to tell you

    No

I'm glad you think having money and spending it makes you feel entitled. Makes me question humanity even more. I'm also glad that you want info but won't go to where they give info. Anyways all your points are just :lolwut:. So go. Go with your attention wanting self.

    Hello Guys!

I'm one of Project Neumann's creators.

Just wanted to say that you have my support "fighting" that vlogger who wants to go to E3. He basically begged for his fans to vote "Saibot Studios", he didn't even mention the game on his videos. A selfish desire, from a immature boy whos using Saibt Studios as a scapegoat (even if they don't have nothing to lose).

Starbound is an amazing game, and really deserves to be at E3, even tough I don't know if they are ellegible. I'm just not confortable with this boy winning the competition.

    See ya!

IMPORTANT EDIT: Saibot Studios explained the situation. The boy's support to them is real, even though his "propaganda" is for himself, rather tan for Saibot Studios. :)

Wow. Just because of this i vote we pool all our votes with Project neumann and send them to e3. Seriously, you guys... you guys are alright :D

Also how is it even possible we're leading by 100 votes, then behind by 1200 a few hours later...
