We can win this without that.

 

I agree we shouldn't cheat. We just need a better way to get the word out to the Starbound supporters.

 

Maybe we should ask youtubers or something ourselves...? I know Totalbiscuit's gotta be kinda hyped for this.

15 days is a ways to go so far. I'm still not worried about it enough to sellout like this other guy is... shameful

 

i allready tweeted to tb about it, he doesn't want to let everyone know because it's bad sport i think.
pewdiepie will make this situation worse, so that leaves us with captain sparkles and Pbat i imagine.
as much as this is poor sport. he starts the nomination, posts a tweet then a video. that youtuber took advantage of his fans to get where he's at, in the greedy spot. we actually got this far on fans following starbound in the first place.

 

It definitely is bad sport. But it seems to be what they're doing.

At least TB'd actually CARE about the game.

 

I would love to see the Chucklefish team go to E3 and show off Starbound! That would earn them so many more supporters! That is, if they want to go to E3. Assuming they do, LET'S GET SOME VOTES!

 

He could put out a support video if he wanted to do it in the utmost gentlemanly manner . Or, even better, mention it on the TGS Podcast tomorrow. If we could get that done, that'd be decision-making for certain. As ICE3 said, anyone for whatever reason can help promote a nomination, so whatever John wants to do, thumb it up or not, he's free to choose. (though we'd all love it if he did )

 

I'd rather not draw other youtubers into this lol I feel it would only serve to tarnish their reputation but then again it's not them that they are promoting to go to E3 now is it I guess the only person with a tarnished reputation will be the guy begging for votes.

I just sent an email to the company that seems to be behind this event to take a look into this matter... I sent them the numbers I've found on this thread asking them to take a look at what is going on... I don't know if something will happen, as long as they know something may be going on... I do want Starbound to have its chance at E3.

 

I'd prefer to call him pewdiepie's evil twin since he likes barrels lol

It's very clear that the guy's fans are voting multiple times. They say so on his youtube video.

Just look at his comments about his fans bragging over voting 2 times, 9 times, etc etc...

Or at least trying to.

I hate people who follow what their you-tuber says like sheep. 99.9% of them probably didn't even go the games website.

 

First i heard of this. Voted for sure. Heck I think Starbound beats most if not all the indie games out there(not saying others are not good, just saying Starbounds borderline Perfection)
But yeah hope it wins for E3

What I did was linked friends on steam by posting a status. I got a couple friends to vote, which was cool of them. I don't use social media too often, with exception to steam so that's the only place I could really spread the word.
