Seriously? Starbound deserves being in E3 before than the Amnesia copy paste game, come on people we must win this if we not win our little rope penguin will cry for the eternity, come on all with me, for Chunclefish, For Starbound, for the penguin!!!!!

Just looked at the contest rules under prizes.

It looks like even if they don't get the Grand prize (but here's hoping they do) they will definitely be within the top 10. The only drawback is it seems they'll have to pay travel expenses and lodging but if they still wanted to go they could.

i hope starbound comes first because as you might of noticed, i'm the nominator. even though tiy and the team will be able to afford the flight trip, i can't as i have little to no money saved up. so if starbound doesn't come first, i'll have to forfeit my ticket.

 

I completely agree with this, and I've thought about it a bunch. Yeah we think it's doing good now but when it gets on the front page of steam for MILLIONS of people to see, people who didn't even buy Terraria will buy it. Not to mention people will not even be able to use the "Terraria" ripoff excuse considering the sheer scope and the polished look it has. It just doesn't compare (not that Terraria is bad, I play it all the time). Also let's not use bots please, we're better than that people

The community really isn't that great, honestly.

I mean, it's better than Zelda or COD fans obviously, but they're the worst so it's like of course we look good. I doubt Starbound will ever get to those levels of stupid. The biggest it's going to get is going to be Minecraft size, and the Minecraft community isn't really that bad or that great either. Which is good

Nothing wrong with zelda fans, COD i see your point on.

And starbound wont get very far into stupid because of the built in admin commands they are making. Just make sure the admins administrate their server.
