HELP STARBOUND CRASH E3

Yeah but I'd really want the dev's to go to E3 for more exposure to the game market I feel they really deserve it

It's not hard to create a bot for voting using emails. There is a website that gives you a email address that lasts for 5minutes. Repeat those two steps and it is really easy to bot if you know just a tiny bit of coding.

 

id love for the team to go to e3 but honestly if for some reason they dont make it they re pretty loved i mean how many indies do you know can say they made 1 million dollars in the preorder phase of the course of 2.5 weeks

For now, botting is no longer that likely, The reason for these votes is the twitter account of the person who made the nomination have close to 65000 follower, that most likely the reason why the vote for "Saibot studios" got up that fast, we should not go too crazy with the accusation.

 

Please vote if you haven't already, I would like this game to win.

 

That is THE crappiest site. I voted for the main Starbound one, but why there had to be dozens and dozens of entries for everything, especially SB and Chucklefish, is beyond me. Or why there was the ability to submits tons of duplicates. I don't see how people voting on that site will have any bearing on E3 itself.

We will be in the top ten and that's all that matters. #1 spot just get roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations for the indie team and whoever nominated them.

 

As seeing this game is a franchise that needs to still make more money for more content in their main product, more votes = more advertising for less expense for these hard working devs. But I agree so far Starbound is doing GREAT.

 

Make that "it's doing great" and you're close. Getting 1m in backers total in such short amount of time for a studio this size is an amazing feat.

 

I agreed 110% with you on that, these Devs deserve all the best things and even the number one spot to have a less expense trip to E3 but in all honesty I don't think we are going to beat the first place indie, they are pulling away from us more and more. I want lose faith though, it's still a over a month for E3 and I know we will get more new people into this game by then.

 

I think the game will take off when it hits the featured section of the Steam store, where millions daily are browsing for a new and cheap game such as Starbound.

 

i really want to know how saibot's dev got that many followers to begin with, i mean, look at everything else he's done and he has barely even 4,000 people. but on his twitter, it's like 60,000.

 

Its not Saibot studios or one of his dev that have over 64000 followers, its the person who nominated them.

edit: - I just wanted to add that their youtube account(saibot studios) have a video that have 105000 views so that might have help also even if the video is 4 month old.
- I just saw that the youtube account of the person who made the nominations have 219000 subscriber(at least I think its his account) so that probably the biggest reason why those votes have gone up that fast(he have a few video of doorways).
- It look like that Alfredito guy have an other youtube account with 300000 subscriber.

I no longer think at all that there was cheating involved.

on the other side... if it gets to E3 it means the community will get more people. At this moment the community is just awesome. What happens if it gets bigger and the griefers and other annoying people gets into starbound?......

 

I really hope this doesn't turn into a vote bot war. I've seen it happen before and although it isn't something that can be proven it is very obvious when it happens...
