If you really want the backers to vote, then put it around the preorder screen somewhere or on the road map. I think it's futile thinking you will get anywhere near that number if you are having to come to this forum to even notice the vote.

 

I voted the moment i saw Starbound up there.

A well earned holiday? I'd say yes for you guys.

 

Whenever I look at the indie nominations there's at least one Starbound nomination and one chucklefish nomination.

 

'Tis awesome for whomever helped put that good Starbound name in there that eventually became first place. Mad props to him if he opts to give up his ticket and hotel room to a 4th CF staff .

 

Soooo, I went to see the indiecrashE3 website, and people are still making Starbound nominations. I mean why aren't they just voting instead of making new ones, this is truly puzzling me! ._.

 

I am not able to pre-order, but I'll be DAMNED if I won't vote for this.

 

Last i checked we were on top

 

Because people want to be the ones with the free trip to E3 :/

I have shamefully misunderestimated the power of this fanbase to make things happen twice. First the preorders, and then this.

This is one potent and determined fanbase and I salute you for your zealous efforts. Methinks that E3 trip for the devs is as good as won.

 

Unless they're ineligible, but yes, this fan base is definitely amazing!

 

Theyve been in contact with them on the Twitter. I assume theyre eligible then if their entry is still up there.

 

I feel like all these other games have been building up votes over like a few weeks or months , and we sweep in and dominate in a day. With no banners telling anyone to go vote or anything. Just a thread of arguments starbound is OP

 

This is cool and all.. But, and forgive my selfishness.. If they have to take time out to prepare for E3.. WON'T THAT DELAY THE GAME?

T-T, I just want to plaaaaay.. Why is the wait so awful.

 

Worry not, comrade! The nomination doesn't end until May 15th and I'm pretty sure E3 only lasts for two days. It'll barely take any time out of their schedule at all! Not to mention only three (or four) of the team can go, so others will be staying back, possibly to work.

[EDIT] The grand prize consists of: four (4) E3 passes, two (2) Double Standard Occupancy hotel rooms for the dates June 11, 2013-June 13, 2013, and a travel allowance for four (4) round trip economy class flights,

We're at 2622! I've notice this thread has slipped down on the discussion list a ways. This vote should actually be kind of a priority!

 

I would love to see StarBound at E3. As long as it won't cost progress on the game.
