Bug/Issue HELP! SMAPI CRASHING

I'm so sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area- I just started my game a few days ago and I'm on Spring 18th, but every time I go to sleep to save, my game shuts down. It's been working every game day until the 18th, I have 9 mods installed and 1 heart with Alex. I genuinely don't know where else to post this, please help me, I want my game back. I appreciate any help, thank you.

@bubblinebee That's a bug in the Flirtier Alex Dialogue Overhaul content pack. I suggest reporting it to the mod author with these details: "The spring_Fri dialogue references a weekendquestion_followup dialogue which doesn't exist, which causes a crash when the spring_Fri line is parsed." In the meantime you can temporarily remove the mod, play one day, then put it back.

man, I really wanted to look on the starbound forums for starbound related crashes as my games screwing up, its been almost 2 months and a thread of mine hasn't got a single comment. All I can find is stardew valley.

I'm getting the same crash problem/error when I go to bed. But I don't have the Flirtier Alex mod installed so it must be another one causing the problem. I just recently started playing on PC with a lot of mods I have installed. I have no idea how to locate the mod that is causing the problem. Can you help? Here is my log file.

 

@galajean Your crash is unrelated to the one bubblinebee had. Can you post a zip of your save files and Mods folder?

 

Thanks for responding so quickly. Here is my save files. I did add the Save Anywhere mod so I could save just before going into bed. This saved my progress for the day so I didn't have to redo the whole day. But when I go to bed to start a new day it crashes.

The zip folder of my mod files is too big to upload (over 10M. Any suggestions on how to get this to you?

@galajean Try updating Bugmeat Recipes to the latest version to fix that.

 

I already did that yesterday when I was messing around and checking for updates and after that it quit crashing when I went to bed but SMAPI stops responding for about 20 seconds and then it responds and saves okay now. So that probably was the problem. Not sure why it stops responding briefly but I can live with that.

I do have another question for you: I am a newbie at all of this modding stuff and one of the mods I installed says to call up commands to be able to set skins for animals etc. I can not figure out how or where to do that. I know there is a Console Command mod but I can't find anything that explains how to use it. Can you guide me on that please????

 

Can you post your latest log? I'll check if there's any indication what's causing the save delay.

You can type commands directly into the SMAPI window (the separate window that launches at the same time as your game), and hit enter to run them.

 

I have made some changes with some mods trying to clean up stuff that seems to be incompatible. I did figure out how to do the console commands. And it seems to be saving okay now.

My newest problem I am having and I can't figure out what mod conflict is causing it...I upgraded both my coop and my barn to the big ones and now when I try to purchase a farm animal from Marnie and it goes to the farm to ask where to put it, it just says "Choose a for your new " and it doesn't let me pick one. I thought it might be due to the coop and barn enhancement mod I was using but I removed that mod and it still doesn't work. It probably has something to do with AdoptSkin and all of the changes I made to put all of the animal skins into that mods asset folder for skins. Here is my latest log. If you need the mod files as well, I will do a new zip through through catbox again. Let me know if you need that.

@danramone One of your mods is adding invalid schedule data. Tomorrow's SMAPI 3.0 update will add extra error-handling to prevent mods from breaking schedules in most cases; let me know if it still happens after the update.
