so, i have made a custom race, with the vanilla novakid ship, as space trains are awesome, the race is essentially just a copy of humans, with a little custom sprite-work for Elf ears the only hiccup really is they use a default item description when investigating things, is there a way to make it so they just use the human descriptions?
Well a whole lot of copy/paste. The best thing to do - if you know how to make your own scripts - is to make a script which scans all the files for "humanDescription" and if found generates a patch file for that thing - a patch which adds (copies the human description) your racial description to that thing.
