Bug/Issue Help! Lost my best character (EoF Issue)

Hello. This is the first time I have posted in the support section, so at least some leeway would be appreciated.

So I was exploring a Scorched planet with a character I clocked over 300 hours with. I have a large amount of mods (some with penalties to unsubscribing), so there were always some issues. But when I get attacked by some randomly generated monster and I hit it with the Dark Kraken sword (from Dark Kraken mod), a few steps later my game eof errors. But strangely, when SB tries to handle the error, it errors out again and a fatal error occurs.

When I try loading the character again in the hopes that I can quickly beam up and save them from this disaster, the game almost doesn't even bother to load the map and eofs almost instantly.

My biggest questions are, "is this it? Did I lose over 300 hours of progress in an instant?" and "If this is not the end of my character, how do I restore them or get them back?"
