Modding Help Help installing Custom Critters mod?

There is a mod from Yoseiri for fairy critters and fairy grass as well that first requires Custom Critters mod to be installed, but I'm very confused on how to add either of them to my game? Any help or tutorial for how to do this?

 

Hi @TalviLaulu. Here's how to install each of those.

SMAPI:

1. See the SMAPI install guide.
2. Find your game folder and note the new Mods subfolder.

Custom Critters:

1. Unzip Custom Critters into a subfolder under Mods.

Yoseiri's Fairy and Fairy Bushes:

1. Unzip Yoseiri's Fairy and Fairy Bushes somewhere outside your mods folder. You'll need a program like 7-zip to unpack the .rar file.
2. Note that it contains two folders: Custom Critters and TileSheets.
3. Copy the Custom Critters folder into Stardew Valley\Mods\CustomCritters\Critters.
4. Copy the TileSheets folder into Stardew Valley\Content (it should replace one file).
