HELP: How/Where do I scan items for Pixel Printer?

There used to be a Scanner section in the PIxel Printer menu but it appears to have been removed? Or maybe I'm missing something. Would be grateful for help because I have been hoping to clear out a bunch of boxes filled with crap I kept just to scan.

You scan them with the inspection tool (after the story quest where you have to scan outpost objects). No need to tear objects down and haul them to your ship for scanning anymore.

Pixel Printer is now a workstation as well, that you have to craft, I'd have preferred to remain on my ship, but oh well. Guess S.A.I.L. can't do everything... Would be nice to get it as an upgrade for it, not instead of the station, but in addition, so you don't have to TP back to ship every 5 minutes to make a copy of a chair or something xD

I've got a much bigger beef with how far in you have to get in order to get a PIxel compressor. That should either be baked into the ship or made with Iron near the beginning given the ridiculous pixel loss system. Ah well; still really happy.

Invest in Colony Deeds, then just create a massive Hotel and run through it for cash moneys, selling everything they give you. XP

Thhaaat's much less cheesy than the Wood exploit I was using to fill my coffers. Now I can roll in money and feel way less guilty about it. :x

Selling Ornate wood isn't a bad idea either, you put in effort and invested your precious time and materials to make something. May not be much, but when you have a massive forest to work with....(Or Gardenbot2 Mod that makes a Lumberjack NPC for you...>.>;)
