Help! Everything I built on a plant suddenly got deleted

I was beaming down from the ship to the planet with my homebase and it was gone. Everything I built just gone and the mountain I moved to make room for it is there again. It's like when I got there for the first time except for some of the torches i put in caves. The Livestock I had there is also gone. Why is this happening? Is there any way to save this or will I really have to rebuild everything? Is this a known problem of planets just randomly resetting themselves?
