Hey SDV modding community! I'm a baby modder (1st mod is currently WIP!) who's run into a roadblock, and I was hoping someone could help! I want to add spouse dialogue that triggers when the player collapses from the 2AM curse and I can't figure out how to write the preconditions for something like that! I.e.: You collapse at 2AM and the next morning, your spouse says "you look exhausted!" and makes you breakfast. How would I trigger that? Please send help? :') //EDIT//: I've been informed that everything to do with passing out is hardcoded and inaccessible for reference, soooo..... there's my answer. Still, if anyone knows how to use the Joja/Linus/Harvey mail as precon for an event, let me know, since that would basically achieve the same result. I tried using n <letter ID> precondition and a When: "HasFlag" condition, but neither worked, so I'm fresh out of ideas lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
hello also a baby modder here have you tried browsing the dialogue modding wiki or mail wiki. I have them open as reference anytime I'm modding dialogue/events https://stardewcommunitywiki.com/Modding:Dialogue https://stardewcommunitywiki.com/Modding:Mail_data in the dialogue there's a portion under conversation topics referencing mail as a trigger I think.
perhaps you could try setting it to trigger after the event of going to the hospital/ waking up in the mines?
